So tonight we tried something new to us and something we have been meaning to try, and that was take away from the Burrendah tavern.

Wendy rang to find out was on offer tonight. I chose chicken parmigiana with penne arrabiata. Which is a lovely chicken parmi with pasta, sauce and a small mix of vegetables.

The food comes cold in plastic take away containers. I turned mine out onto a plate and popped it into the microwave. Three minutes later it was ready to go.
I added a splash of to***co sauce and some freshly grated parmasan cheese.

We are both very happy with my chicken parmi and Wendy's chicken and mushroom lingini.

Yesterday we went and had lunch at Bengawan Tastes of Asia. Lunch was so nice and reminded me of being back in Bali.Wend...

Yesterday we went and had lunch at Bengawan Tastes of Asia. Lunch was so nice and reminded me of being back in Bali.
Wendy had Nasi kuning (yellow rice), I had ayam bakar pedas (spicy grilled chicken).

The chicken is shredded and folded into rice, the wrapped in a banana leaf and served steaming hot.

Stopped in again this afternoon for coffee and cake. Martys cakes never disappoint.

We went to Six Willows in Rostrata on the weekend and had coffees plus breakfast.
Wendy had toast with butter, ham and Vegemite.
I had the breakfast Panini and this was so nice. I highly recommend it.

Today we went to The Kauphy Place. We hadn't been before and wanted to try the coffee, I had a cappuccino and Wendy had an iced coffee.
My cap was ok, nice but not super special, Wendys iced coffee though was much better than the one on Saturday from Cockburn.
But the food we saw brought out for other people looked delicious. We have made a promise to come back and try some of the lunch specials.

Has anyone else eaten there?

Good Morning everyone.
This morning I'm taking my daughters car to the guys at Ultra tune on Collins for a tune up and service.
I have heard nothing but good about them.
