"You look like this big, tough fella, but you are... a poet." Venn-represented artist Abdul Rahman-Abdullah - whose works "Long Round" and "Cat Whisperer" are currently on exhibit in our Summer Show - recently jumped on Skype with well known artist Tracey Moffatt in her irreverent interview video series, Art Calls. Thank you to everyone who came down to our “Summer Show 2014 Celebration” last Thursday 20 November. It truly was a special evening and a wonderful way to say farewell to the space that has been our home for the past few years.

We’ve really appreciated all the kind wishes and support since making the announcement about the gallery’s future and it was great to celebrate the gallery’s endeavours with so many familiar faces.

Strut dance's "MoveMe Improvisation Festival" comes to Venn Gallery this week.

Dancers Jacob Lehrer and David Corbet will present their show 'ICP and Entanglement' in the Venn Gallery space tonight and tomorrow evening.

The Best Of! The Greatest Hits! The Allstars! … Venn's last ever exhibition at 16 Queen St - Summer Show - brings together a selection of works from recent Venn exhibiting artists as well as Venn Gallery represented artists - come and discover the wild, bizarre murals of Patrick Doherty, the experiential sculptures of Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Kate McMillan's psychologically stirring photography, and much more.

Venn Gallery Future Direction Announcement.

Venn Gallery is moving out of its Queen Street premises at the end of 2014 and will operate on a project and consultancy basis, focussing primarily on independent curatorial projects.

Recent Venn Gallery exhibiting artist Teelah George has been undertaking a studio residency at PICA - Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts.

This evening, along with fellow studio residents, Dan McCabe, Robert Turpin and Gera Woltjer, Teelah will present a talk about her residency. Details at the below link.
