This June, we’re pouring not one, but two special wines as our Wines of the Month.

Brash Higgins Ripple Nero d’Avola/ Shiraz
Juicy, vibrant and a little wild. Ripple brings together bright red berries, soft spice and a fresh, easy-drinking finish. A macerated red made for long lunches and good company.

Langhe Nebbiolo Bera
Elegant and unmistakably Piedmont. Delicate rose petals, wild cherry and fine tannins come together in a beautifully balanced Nebbiolo with plenty of character and charm.

Two wines, two very different styles, and the perfect excuse to explore something new. Available throughout June by the glass and bottle

The Table Wines “Fish in a Tin” Vermentino Blend is crisp, textural and coastal-feeling, blending Vermentino with varieties like Grenache Blanc and Picpoul. Expect green apple, citrus peel, sea salt and herbal notes, with a bright line of acidity and a savoury saline edge.

This month we’re pouring two hidden gems — bottles that wouldn’t normally find out in the wilderness!

Monte Sasso – Braschi Famoso (Emilia-Romagna) Made from the almost-lost Famoso grape, this bright and aromatic white feels like walking through a field of Italian flowers.
Expect citrus, apricot and delicate white florals with a clean mineral finish that keeps everything fresh and lively. One of those wines that feels both subtle and complex.

Nals Margreid “Pfeffersburger” Edelvernatsch / Schiava From Alto Adige in northern Italy — right on the Austrian border. Edelvernatsch (also known as Schiava) is a classic alpine red: light, silky and beautifully fresh with notes of cherry, plum and violets. The name Pfeffersburger comes from the historic castle above the vineyards, once known as Pfeffersburg, giving the wine a little piece of local history in every bottle.

Two quietly brilliant wines that don’t shout for attention — but once you discover them, they’re hard to forget.
