Every state and territory across Australia have closed their border or imposed strict entry restrictions to residents of Greater Sydney.
Here are the current border rules:
Queensland has barred residents of Greater Sydney as of 1am today.
Victoria and South Australia have banned Northern Beaches residents and directed the rest of Sydney into 14-day quarantine.
Western Australia has reinstated its hard border with all of NSW.
Tasmania will direct all residents from greater Sydney into 14-day quarantine
The Northern Territory will force travellers from the Northern Beaches into quarantine.
The ACT is closed to all of Greater Sydney.

***RADAR DETECTOR BAN & SCHOOL ZONES***

Good morning all, as of today, please be advised of the following:

(I) Radar detectors now are illegal to have in your car with the penalties as follows:

- $1200 7 demerits (smaller vehicles)
- $1500 7 demerits (heavy vehicles)

It’s apparent based on these penalties that people who possess a radar detector are more of a danger to other road users than a texting driver.

(II) School zones have recommenced and are usually heavily targeted during first week of term. Take note and make sure not to be caught by surprise.
