About venue: This venue is at North bridge, Perth, where we will be doing multi cuisine menu and bar. It is a perfect venue to catch up, hangout, great food and music.
We are hiring a manager and a chef,
This is an opportunity for the candidate to show their skill and capabilities.
Responsibility and requirements for manager
•Experience is must, minimum 2 years
• Supervising floor Staff to ensure they are performing their role to the expected level
• Continually motivate, creating an enjoyable and engaging work environment
• Greet and seat customers
• Work with kitchen and bar staff to create a great team ethos
• This is a hands-on role, and you will need to be active on the floor.
• Managing staff to ensure restaurant service levels are consistent and of the highest possible standard
• Providing ongoing training and mentoring of staff
• Driving revenue by ensuring maximum covers per service period
• Stock rotation and ordering, including a monthly stocktake
• Monitoring the restaurant budget, including completing detailed reporting on the same
• Working closely with the Kitchen department
• Ensuring the restaurant and staff is always presented to resort standards
• Promptly address customer concerns
Responsibility and requirements for chef
• Assisting the head chef with the management and leadership of the kitchen team
• Maintaining cleanliness, health and hygiene procedures
• Stock management
• Maintaining a high standard of food service
• A la carte service on normal bar days
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Previous senior experience in a kitchen role
• Weekend and night availability is a must
• Previous experience in catering and events is highly regarded
• Team first attitude and driven to succeed
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• The ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Fast-paced decision making and a strong work ethic
