Science Mum at Bassendean Memorial Library.

Our next session is on the 19th of October. The booking window opens on the first of October- 9am.

Come join us for three fabulous Science Mum sessions in September, October, and November.
We support STEM at Bassendean Memorial Library, so we are very excited to present our local Science Mum, Carmen, and her amazing Science sessions for kids. What is Science Mum? The Science Mum is a small business committed to providing fun, STEM learning experiences for budding little scientists. As a local Bassendean resident, Carmen is excited to bring a range of science workshops to Bassendean Memorial Library. Carmen is a qualified Science teacher.

The third Wednesday in Sept, Oct and Nov. 4- 5pm. The booking window will be open on the first day of every month.

Extraordinary Electricity Nov- 16 4-5pm

Ages. 5- 10 yrs. Please book for your child only. Carer supervision is necessary. These sessions are not suitable for younger children.

"Power to the People" is a two week street activation of Old Perth Road from Saturday September 24th - Sunday October 9th coinciding with the upcoming school holidays.

The project is being delivered in partnership with RAC, through its Reconnect WA initiative, which aims to create vibrant streets and public spaces for people to interact and connect with each other. The Power to the People project will trial a pedestrian only zone along one side of Old Perth Road from Wilson Street to Guildford Road with lots of free events, workshops and other activities taking place along the street.
