Cannington/Box 1 will shut down for track renovations for several months following the meeting on Sunday 27 May, with all racing being transferred to Mandurah and Northam.

But before then we we have a big couple of weeks at Cannington with the final of Group 2 WA Derby this Saturday (18 May) and the final of the Group 2 WA Oaks on Saturday 25 May!
