Varnish’s pays its respect to the nouveau dive bars of the States, but throws a sly nod to Perth’s own history with sepia-toned images of the neighbourhood’s yesteryear. Tucked in the basement of a heritage building right in the heart of Perth’s CBD, is Varnish on King - paying homage to American Whiskey and home to Perth’s most extensive showcase of bourbons, ryes, Canadian and Tennessee whiskey.

Our iconic bacon & whiskey flight is a 'thing' for those in the know - and if you flip a gold coin in the heightened jar, you know what kinda cap we'll put on that. Our food is an innovative, eclectic fusion of American classics with an Aussie twist and our interior pays respect to the nouveau dive bars of the States - throwing a sly nod to Perth's own history with sepia-toned images of the neighbourhood’s yesteryear lining the walls.
