Magnet House

Possums, listen to me very carefully...

Two weeks from Friday, Windwaker bring the ‘smile you’re on camera’ tour to my house, and Perth is the very first stop. You see it before anyone else in the country does...

Their new album ‘smile, you’re on camera’ drops just a week before the show. The band call it their most honest record yet, and I can tell you that the honest ones always play the loudest...

They’re also bringing friends I’m rather obsessed with. The Pretty Wild are flying in from the US with metal, hard rock and electronics all tangled together. RinRin is serving up hyperpop with a little alt-metal and pop punk bite. Perth gets this exact lineup and nobody else does...

Friday 30 October. Magnet House. 18+.

Tickets are still available, but I wouldn’t sit on them much longer, grab yours and come scream every word with me...

Hardline Media and I are thrilled to unleash DEATH ANGEL on my house, possums, performing ACT III in its entirety! 🖤

San Francisco Bay Area thrash royalty is returning to Australia for the first time in nearly a decade, and dahling, they are not coming quietly. They’re bringing their masterpiece ACT III, played front to back, plus a blistering set of classic thrash cuts to leave your neck sore for days...

A little history for my newer club bunnies: Death Angel led the second wave of 80s thrash and sit proudly among the genre’s “Big Eight”, rubbing studded shoulders with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Exodus and Overkill. After the underground fury of The Ultra-Violence (1987) and Frolic Through The Park (1988), they signed with Geffen Records and dropped ACT III in 1990. Technical, progressive and still dangerously catchy, it sent A Room With A View and Seemingly Endless Time into MTV heavy rotation and has lived on best-metal-albums-of-all-time lists ever since...

These boys are true survivors of the Bay Area scene that reshaped heavy music forever. Still writing, still touring, and one of the very few thrash bands ever nominated for a Grammy (Best Metal Performance, Humanicide, 2020). Now they’re celebrating 35 years of ACT III with a proper headline tour, their first Aussie run since touring with Sepultura in 2018...

Tickets drop Tuesday 20th October at 11am, possums, and I’d set an alarm if I were you. Grab yours here: https://tickets.393murray.com.au/outlet/event/9289a996-a8e3-4eda-9a3c-89a56e599f99

So dust off the battle jacket, lace up the high tops and bring your loudest self, dolls. My floors have been waiting for a pit like this...

SAT 10 OCT - KT, TLAH, Rovy + Jaida-Rose are in charge of the soundtrack, while I encourage a little decadence and some very questionable decisions.

Pop your name on my guest list via the link in bio. I expect to see you looking divine, possums.

Tomorrow night, possums...

I've had the decorators in and dahling, they've truly outdone themselves. Toadstools taller than your last three dates (proof everything grows bigger in the dark), a butterfly the size of my ego spreading her wings over the decks, and lighting so flattering the French talk shows will be in my DMs by Friday... My world, finally out in the open, t***s!

First 100 through my doors get a complimentary shot of Belvedere Dirty Brew. Come early, dolls. I don't wait for anyone, and neither do my pours....

Free on guestlist, $5 at the door, link in bio possum...

Dahlings, I’ve had a little lie-down and reviewed the evidence. You were delicious. My house was heaving. I’m ready to do it all again.
