💙❄️ IT'S BIG FREEZE DAY! ❄️💙

Today, a whole crew of brave (or possibly questionable) locals will be launching themselves into icy water for a fantastic cause at the Marlo Big Freeze.

We're especially excited to see two of our own getting amongst it. Eddie will be taking the plunge representing the Orbost Club Hotel, while Netty will be flying the flag for East Gippsland Shire. Different shirts today, but both are very much part of the Orbost Club Hotel family.

One thing we love about living in a small town is that when there's a good cause, everyone gets behind it. Doesn't matter if you're from the pub, the shire, a local business, a sporting club or just someone who can't say no when asked to do something slightly ridiculous — everyone shows up.

Today is about having a laugh, backing each other in, and raising money for a cause that touches so many families. It's community spirit at its best.

To everyone taking the plunge today: thank you. You're helping make a real difference.

To Eddie and Netty: we're proud of you both. We hope the water is cold enough to make it worth donating for, but not so cold that you start questioning your life choices.

Good luck to everyone involved, and remember — embarrassment lasts a few minutes, community pride lasts a lot longer. 💙🥶

What a cracking start to the pool comp tonight at the **Orbost Club Hotel** 🍻

🥈 **Runner Up:** Darren Collins

A great turnout, plenty of quality pool, a few lucky shots, and even more people claiming they meant to play that safety 😏

Hayden takes the Week 1 honours and the early lead on the ladder, while Darren banks some valuable points towards the grand final.

**THE REUBEN PARMA** 🤤

This week we've taken a deli classic and turned it into a parma.

🥩 Pastrami
🥬 Sauerkraut
🧀 Swiss Cheese
🔥 Russian Dressing

It's everything you'd expect from a Reuben sandwich... except bigger, cheesier, and sitting proudly on top of a schnitzel.

Not going to lie, this one is that good I actually had one myself tonight. Which is saying something, because usually Craig gets the dangerous job of quality control.

Speaking of Craig, he's completely gone off script this week. Instead of his usual beverage of choice, he was spotted with a **$6 Ginger Beer Schooner** in hand, doing his best influencer impression and helping us promote this week's special. Don't worry though, normal service resumed shortly after.
