Do note, this isn't your typical steak + chips + salad kinda evening but a bonafide feast to treat you and your friends to!

The wait is over, tomorrow from 6pm at Goodwater, in collaboration with The Drink Society, we're very excited to bring you this Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon, from warehouse EE of Heaven Hill's famed Deatsville campus, where it spent a total of 11 years, 11 months & 3 weeks coming of age.

Some very special releases have come from warehouse EE, it's known for producing whiskies that highlight rich, complex and funky flavours. This bourbon, as one of the oldest barrel picks to be bottled in the last decade, is no exception to the rule.

Come and try the bourbon while chatting with one of the people who made it happen, we're over the moon to be joined by the one and only, Jodie Filiatreau, Artisinal distiller from

Dinner and a taste included, $30 a head, very limited spots left for this.

Please note we're only taking a limited number of reservations per evening and courtyard bookings only on Fridays and Saturdays, so if a spot you want isn't available, pull up anyway and we should be able to seat you pretty quickly.

Join us at Goodwater on Wednesday March 25th at 6:30pm (7pm Start) as we dive into the world of Joseph Magnus & Co. and Fox & Oden Whiskies — courtesy of Kia and Jack at

The Joseph Magnus brand traces its roots to 1892, when Joseph A. Magnus built a respected whiskey and spirits business in Cincinnati, Ohio. Magnus was known for bottling premium bourbon, before ceasing operations with the onset of Prohibition. In 2015 the brand was revived, utilising industry expertise from the likes of Nancy Fraley and then going on to create legendary bottles like the Magnus Cigar Blend.

The Fox & Oden brand was created to honour the legacy of distillers during the pre-prohibition era and the techniques they used for finishing and blending. With its unique bottle shape, high quality whiskey and fantastic price point, we think it will be a hit in Australia.

Expect bold, sherry-kissed bourbon, layered triple cask expressions, and the rich, decadent depth that’s made these whiskies a cult favourite among whiskey lovers!

Join us for an afternoon with Aaron Lawrence at Goodwater on Sunday, March 15 at 1:30 pm for our first tasting event of the year! 🎉

We're very excited to have the General Manager of the brand, Aaron Lawrence hosting a great lineup from Blanton's, some rare, some dusty, and a few rickhouse neighbours!

With close to 20 years experience in the Wine & Spirits Industry, his wealth of knowledge and long-standing roots in kentucky allow him a unique perspective on the great American spirit, which you'll see first hand over 8 great pours coming straight outta Frankfort!

Since its establishment in 1984, under the helm of the legendary Elmer T Lee, the Blanton's brand has stood the test of time, and to this day is a standard for single barrel practice. We're also very lucky to have the community around the bar that we have, because with their help we are able to share with you 4 Blanton's Gold from neighbouring barrels, all dumped on the same day.

Hello all the friends! 🎉
Hope your year has been good so far, can you believe it's already the end of Jan!?

If you've been in the last few weeks, you might've noticed a little change to our back courtyard area! Nate and the team have been busy over the New Year time off period getting handy and building up this space into a more comfortable seating space!

This will help us easier facilitate larger groups and bookings moving forward so we'd love to see you come through and enjoy it with us!

We're pretty proud of it and hope you like it too!
