You’d be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t love a good confetti shot...

Me? I feckin’ love them. They just radiates joy, right?

Now, a good confetti exit doesn’t just happen by accident. It’s all about the timing.

As your Celebrant, I will gladly take on the prestigious role of confetti director. I'll make sure everyone is where they need to be, the confetti is ready to go, with appropriate delegation, and it all happens at the right moment so we can get THAT shot.

Been planning your own confetti exit? Great. But please remember, not every venue loves confetti as much as we do.So always check the venue rules before you start filling your online cart with tiny bits of joy.

And if you’ve got the green light, organic confetti wins every time.

Because biodegradable might sound great, but organic means you’re choosing something that will naturally break down.

When their enquiry landed in my inbox, it said...'I was a bridesmaid at Erryn & Justin’s wedding, and I was just so happy with the way you married them.'

Although I was caught by surprise when her name popped up, I already knew exactly who she was... Emma is Justin's little sister.

That wedding, back in January 2021, was my first wedding ever. I was shaking like a leaf the entire way through. Nervous AF, I remember thinking…
I really hope I get better at this.

Five years later, many many weddings between, and I got to marry Emma to her love, Todd.

It was relaxed. It was emotional. It was full of history.

Erryn & Justin were in the wedding party. Emma’s mum was in the front row, watching the last of her four children get married, and her dad was there in spirit.

Many of Todd’s family crossed the great ditch to be there, with his dad and grandparents joining us via FaceTime.

And I left with the fullest of heart because you could literally feel how much these people loved each other. Truly.

There’s something pretty bloody special about knowing that five years ago, Emma watched me marry her brother and thought, I want her to marry me too. Such a full circle moment to be back in front of the same beautiful family.

And now Mr & Mrs Wilkins get to write the next chapter of their story, together.

F**k, I love this job.

You probably wont remember the words. But, with any luck, you'll remember the feeling.

This is the ultimate goal, it's what I am chasing every single time I craft a ceremony.

Not just getting the words right. Getting the feeling right.

For me, that means taking the time to understand you, your relationship, your people, what's important.

It's what makes The Wheatbelt Celebrant approach a little different.

I care more about the way you experience your ceremony, the way it feels and how it stays with you, than I do about stranger's opinions on what it 'should be'.

You aren't like everyone else, you don't want a ceremony that could have been anyone's and I'm here to make sure that when you look back years from now, you remember exactly how it felt to stand here... at your wedding, and to marry your person.

Your babies and your family standing beside you. A photographer to capture the moment and The Wheatbelt Celebrant for those important legal words and signatures.

And then you go about your day, having changed everything and nothing, all at once.

That's what Nadine and Dylan chose, and one day those darling boys of theirs will run amuck through this paddock. The paddock that holds the love story of their mum and dad forever more.

I have a confession... I've been slacking off.

Not at weddings, just on socials. A winter hiatus if you will.

So I figured it's probably time to reintroduce myself.

I'm Hannah. The face behind The Wheatbelt Celebrant. The one who'll have your guests asking how long we've been friends.

And since we're going to be friends by the time you get married, you should probably know these few completely random facts about me...

I can fit my whole fist in my mouth. No, I don't know why that's my party trick either.

Green is the best colour. End of.

My taste in music is... eclectic at best. RnB, 2000s emo, Benny Benassi, 1990s dance, Aussie Hip hop, the odd guilty pleasure. It makes absolutely no sense.

Latte or espresso martini? Yes.

I froth a good op shop (in fact i found this dress at my fave lil store - tagged in pic) and get an unreasonable amount of satisfaction every time we tick another job off our never-ending renovation.

I'm a proud pick-and-chooseatarian. A dietary lifestyle I completely made up where I eat whatever I feel like and justify it later.

I'm ridiculously empathetic and intuitive. I can read a room like a pro and usually see what needs doing a mile away. It's probably one of the reasons I love being a celebrant so much.

As for weddings, I reckon the best ones all have the same ingredients. Two people wildly in love, a ceremony that actually means something, bloody good food, a top-tier atmosphere and plenty of laughs - doesnt matter if you share that moment with 2 people or 200.

Hannah was so wel spoken, had a great sense of humour, tailored the ceremony to exactly what my husband and I had envisioned, she helped us in the lead up to the wedding checking in, she helped with the vows, she provided so many resources for us to use, and she was so quick to respond to any questions we had. Hannah made us feel so at ease on the day. I couldnt recommend her highly enough!'
