We have some exciting plans for the next phase of Kravings life in the Hawkesbury dining scene - a new venue and something different.
To avoid confusion from multiple venues with a similar name we are renaming the Kravings Bistro at the North Richmond Hotel as the North Richmond Bistro.
It has been an incredible three and a half years for the Kravings Bistro. We are incredibly appreciative of every customer who has joined us during our time at the hotel. Whether you've been a regular from the beginning, celebrated a special occasion with us, dropped in for a schnitty and a drink, or only recently discovered us - thank you for your support.
To every staff member, past and present, who has played a part in making the bistro what it is today - thank you for your hard work and commitment.
The past three and a half years have certainly had their challenges. We set out to create something a little different - somewhere between restaurant quality food and the comfort and value of a great pub meal. The evidence suggests we have achieved that and we are incredibly proud to say the business has never been in better shape.
There's something pretty special about achieving what we planned, particularly with all of the challenges of running a hospitality venue in these trying times. My approach has always been to try something new when on a high. We closed the original Kravings Restaurant and moved the Kravings brand to the hotel whilst the brand was going strong, and are using that same approach this time around. I believe the best time to close a chapter is when you're proud of where it is.
We have some exciting things happening behind the scenes and you'll be hearing much more about what's next for the Kravings brand very soon.
As for the North Richmond Hotel - we're not going anywhere! From Monday night, a new bistro chapter begins at the North Richmond Bistro.
You'll still see the same familiar faces around the place, including mine, as we launch an all-new bistro brand at the hotel.
