Gippsland Rhythm & Blues Club holds a Blues Jam session on the last Sunday of every moth (except December) at the Newborough RSL from 2pm - 6pm. A P.A and Back Line is provided. Just bring along your guitars, basses, sticks, harps, horns, keyboards etc. From time to time we have special guests at our jams, but mostly, it's just lots of people having a great time. Cold drinks / Tea & Coffee available at the bar, raffles, great music and kids are welcomed!

Gippsland FM held its awards afternoon today.

Today Pedro received the Ken Thompson Spirit of Community award for his dedication to the station since its opening back in the late 70s.

Pedro volunteers his time with Gippsland FM by helping keep the studios and transmitter up and running, general maintenance as well as helping out with the live broadcasts for the local football as well as other outside broadcasts.

Huge thanks to everyone that came along and enjoyed the Gippsland Rhythm & Blues Club August Jam. Big thanks to the Yallourn/Newborough RSL for allowing us to make a bit of noise on the last Sunday of the month.

What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Gippsland Rhythm & Blues Club July Jam on Sunday.

We had to compete with the Winter Blues Festival, the cold weather and a few other events on around the place, but we still put on a great show.

Huge thanks to Yallourn/Newborough RSL for having us and of course all the musicians and music fans for coming along and support us. Also thanks to the Lions Club of Moe Inc for cooking up a wonderful batch of Bacon & Egg rolls, Sausage Sizzles and muffins. Certainly hit the spot.
