Sometimes the best dining experiences are the ones you didnโt plan. A cosy, welcoming vibe and those beautiful waterfront views, and itโs easy to see why this surprise visit became a new favourite.

โWe actually ended up here completely by accident while looking for dinner tonight and Iโm so glad we did.
We noticed at the last minute that they usually donโt take walk-ins, but thought weโd try anyway. Kathy greeted us with such a warm smile and, instead of turning us away, she quickly checked and managed to find us a table. That already made a great first impression.
We started with the salt and pepper squid and the king prawns, both were seriously good. Super fresh and full of flavour.
For mains, I had the squid ink seafood spaghetti (Kathyโs recommendation), and honestly, it was incredible. Rich, generous, and just one of those dishes you donโt want to end. My husband had the ravioli with grilled barramundi, also recommended by Kathy, and he absolutely loved it.
We were in Nelson Bay for my husbandโs birthday and didnโt really know where to go, but now weโve found a place weโll definitely come back to whenever weโre nearby.
Also, the waterfront view and the cosy, welcoming vibe just made everything even better.
