Bowls report Thursday 3rd Saturday 5th September 2027.
Lorraine Scott and Kevin Baguley will play in the final of the mixed pairs after defeating Debbie Gleeson and Peter Small in the semi-final played on Saturday afternoon. The score after 3 ends was 3 all then Lorraine and Kevin took the lead in the 4th end and led for the rest of the game winning 19-11 after 18 ends.
Social bowls played on Thursday was a trophy day.
The winners were:
Doug Mackereth, Dee Fletcher who defeated Lindsay Myers (visitor), Di Chessells 23-14 and winning 12 of the 18 ends for a points total of 22.
Second Dawn Armstrong, Cecile, Eva Sadler who defeated Trish Allison, Kay Carolan, Tony Redman 16-12 winning 11 ends.
David Briggs, Marie Redman, Col Armstrong had a draw against Gloria Campey, Glennis Godden, Lyn Tuckey 12 all.
Ronnie Dewar, Rob Pownall drew against Yvonne Hardman, Stuart Coleman 13 all.
The club singles being held to fill the gap in the change over from financial year to calendar year will commence on Thursday.

Bowls report Thursday 27th Saturday 29th August 2026.
Eva Sadler and Larry Scott are into the final of the mixed pairs for 2025/2026.
Eva and Larry defeated Cindy Neil, Tony Redman. Eva and Larry both played great bowls and were unbeatable winning the game 22-9.
Debbie Gleeson, Peter Small defeated Lyn Tuckey, Rob Pownall in a quarter final and will play Lorraine Scott, Kevin Baguley next Saturday at 1pm to determine the other finalist. Debbie and Peter won their game against Lyn Tuckey and Rob Pownall. The score was 9 all on the 9th end with Lyn and Rob taking the lead in the 10th end 10-9. Debbie and Peter then scored 14 shots to 2 over the remaining 8 ends to win the game 23-12.
Social bowls played on Thursday.
Gloria Campey, Rob Pownall defeated Dee Fletcher, Cecile 21-10.
Rhonda Fitzgerald, (played swinging lead) and with Stuart Coleman, Keith Stoltenberg defeated Anne Lye (visitor), Kay Carolan 21-9.
Trish Allison, Glennis Godden, Kay Dewson defeated Dawn Armstrong, Mick Lamey (visitor), Cindy Neil 28-13.
T. Lye (visitor), Yvonne Hardman, Lyn Tuckey defeated Di Chessells, Lyn Lamey (visitor), Doug Mackereth 26-8.
A trophy day will be held next Thursday 3rd September.
A draw has been done for the club singles with games to commence on the 10th September.
