QACs or Quats, short for Quaternary Ammonium Compounds, can be found in disinfectants, household cleaners and even in the easy to use antibacterial wipes.

Some studies have shown that mother’s milk have been known to contain levels of QACs as these chemicals are absorbed into our bodies through our skin and when we breathe it in.

QACs have been linked with health effects including harm to the immune system, reproductive toxicity and the metabolism.

Look out for ingredients like:
-Bleach or Oxywash
-Benzalkonium chlorides and
-Names that end in “ammonium chloride”

For most people, Family comes first & we want the best for them. So let’s say no to toxic chemicals and make better choices.
