The Citadel Murwillumbah In the heart of Murwillumbah; a venue to bring artists, poets, musicians, and their audience together

Since it’s sale and decommissioning from The Salvation Army in 1984, The Citadel has attracted artists and musicians as residents and performers. When we took the reins in 2008 the building required emergency renovations and much love as all heritage buildings require, and some adaption to become a licenced venue, fit for it’s new purpose. In the spirit of it’s build in 1920, we honour the building's legacy by returning music to its stage, and creating a hub for all artists and lovers of art to share.
