Hi, it’s Sarah here. I hope you’re ok and keeping safe.

As we isolate to protect one another’s health, we’re all desperate to connect with what inspires us.

But every artist, festival, gallery, theatre, live music venue – they’ve all lost their audiences and all that income.

50,000 artists. 600,000 workers – the majority, casual employed :(

Let’s make sure our artists and creative companies have a future – to inspire our future.

Act now to .

Every boy has the right to learn to pirouette. Everyone has the right to dream. Billy Elliot. You know the name, the iconic poses of a small boy in red track pants tapping against a backdrop of rioting minors. Perhaps...

[WRITING] My review of a Writers Victoria celebrates 30 years 2019 Glen Eira Storytelling Festival event starring local Bram Presser, and cult hero Christos Tsalkos, with Enza Gandolfo.

A fabulous frank night talking about writers and writing in Australia today.

I’m lucky I live in the City of Glen Eira. Set in the inner South-East of multicultural Melbourne, home to Chadstone Shopping Centre, Monash University, the original ABC studios, a large section of the Jewish community, with a plethora of...
