Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Do I have to be a university student to join? A: No you don't. We accept anyone with a passion for anime and manga! Of course, we are based at Murdoch so the majority of our events are held there. Q: Do I have to be a certain age to join? A: Technically anyone can join MAd, however please keep in mind that the majority of our members are university students and so this is the age group we cater towards with our events. Thank you for understanding. Q: Where can I sign up? A: Come visit our Thursday stall on Bush Court (next to the library) at Murdoch University during the teaching period. If that doesn't suit you then please send us an email and we'll work something out with you! Q: How much does it cost to join? A: We have two membership types. Semester memberships and Year memberships. This gives you access to our various events, and goes directly into helping us fund them. Prices as of 2014 are: $5 semester; $10 year. Q: I'd like to get in touch with MAd. What is the best way? A: If you'd like to speak to our president or executives directly, please send us an email.
