Vehicle and trailer heading west on the GV Hwy Murch East about 9.10 am this morning 23.12.22 lost this wheel and tyre. If you know someone that knows someone please let them know it is @ The East.

To all ‘would be’ travellers in the Murchison area. Please be advised that the road and consequently the bridge are closed. The water is now rising and starting to cross the road. There are major ‘bubbles’ in the road and it is extremely unsafe. All day people have been ignoring the sign. Please do not ignore the sign.
Please note that the road is closed for a reason.

To all our Murchison Friends and families. Our thoughts are with you at this worrying time.
We feel bloody helpless stuck this side of the river but please know that If we can be of any help to anybody we will gladly pitch in.

In the the meantime Emilia is flat out in the kitchen cooking up a heap of Parmas, pizzas. , fish and chips and nuggets and chips. We have coordinated with the CFA to get these delivered to the Murchison community hub in time for lunch around 12noon. So if you can safely make your way into town please feel free to partake in a feed on us @ The East.
