🍺 General Gordon Hotel, Sandiford QLD🍻
One of our favourites so far (I know I say that every time) 🤣 dog friendly ✅ a schooner costs less than $10 ✅ friendly staff & locals ✅ free camping out the back ✅ so much character ✅ clean, tidy & beautifully kept ✅ add this one to your travels list!

🍻 Koumala Hotel 🍺 A historic country pub in Queensland (50kms south of Mackay) that first opened its doors in 1939 🍻 The front bar is famous for its taxidermy displays, featuring large local fish catches—including a massive 20-kilogram barramundi nailed to the wall 🐟 what a beauty! 😍

The Imperial Hotel in Ravenswood, Queensland, is a rare, well-preserved gold-boom pub built in 1901–1902 🍻 there are Wallaroos everywhere, an outdoor fire, pool table, free camping, billiards room, delicious wood fire pizzas and of course great cold beer 🍺 With an influx of miners in the evening for an hour or so, as soon as the sun sets it is only a few locals left at the bar to have a yarn with 🌅

🌞 Clairview 🐠 What a beautiful stop 💦 after driving along the Bruce highway for what feels like forever, the first view of the ocean again is breathtaking 😍 pulled into the tiny town that consists of a public toilet, caravan park and a little community op shop, to make some wraps for lunch and stretch our legs 🤩
