Grand Hotel - Millicent

Each month the Grand Hotel Millicent Social Club makes a donation to a worthy local non for profit organisation. Last Friday three donations were made.
🚘 Firstly, Nathan Robinson from the Millicent Skidfest, accepted a $200 donation. The Skidfest was held this weekend, delighting hundreds of spectators to burnouts and circle works at the sale yards. Lots of classic cars came along for everyone to look at as well.
🏍 Next, Brett and Sue from the Millicent Show Society accepted a $500 donation to help with running of the motor bikes that are making their return at this year's annual Millicent show being held on the first weekend in November.
🏇 Lastly, Belinda from the Social Club committee accepted a $200 donation on behalf of the Millicent Show Society Show jumping committee. This will be used to provide prizes to the junior competitors.
Congratulations to all the recipients and well done and a huge thanks to Grand Hotel Millicent Social Club.

This is a fully licensed and catered event so no outside alcoholic drinks or food may be brought in. Limited seating is available, and we encourage all attendees to bring a chair, larger items such as picnic blankets are discouraged. The site is fully wheelchair accessible. ROTR takes place in the sunny season in a space with minimal shade. Sunscreen and water will be available for free, and please make sure you dress sun smart! But most of all, make sure you bring your dancing shoes, and get ready to party with 12 of the best live acts the Limestone Coast has seen!

Well , the Grand Final is over for another year ! Congratulations to the Brisbane Lions , it was a great game.
The Grand Social Club made a day of it at the GrandHotel , be it a small number of members in attendance , a good day was had by all . Lots of winners and some multiple . You know the old saying “ winners are grinners “ ! Well there sure were some Saturday . Including the three in the photo .
