🇮🇹 LAST CALL FOR ITALIAN WEEK.
And we're finishing with a wine that's a little bit bold, a little bit mysterious and absolutely not here for long.
Meet Poggio Anima "Samael" Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
Born in the rugged hills of Abruzzo, on Italy's wild Adriatic coast, this is a wine with serious personality.
Poggio Anima's collection is inspired by celestial spirits and archangels, and Samael is the dark horse of the lineup. Rich, generous and unapologetically Italian.
Think black cherry, plum, blackberry, a touch of spice and enough silky texture to make Melbourne's winter feel considerably more civilised.
It's the kind of red that demands a second glass.
Possibly a third.
We're not judging.
The problem?
🇮🇹 It's only here for Italian Week.
🍷 Available by the glass.
⏳ When the last bottle is poured, it's heading back to Italy.
No extensions.
No encore.
No "I meant to come in."
Italian Week is running out of runway.
Come drink the wine everyone will be talking about next week.
