Two nights ago at the House Of Blues Sunset Strip in West Hollywood fans were expecting Big Sean to headline the night alone. It turns out a few of his famous friends also decided to join in the party and we can assume no one was upset.

As a part of pre-Grammy weekend in Los Angeles, CA, the Detroit native was performing some of his more notable songs such as “Sanctified,” “Mula” and “Paradise.” After, however, Sean decided to ratchet up his set a little bit and brought out , , and , who performed many of their own songs along with a few that included Big Sean.

The performance climaxed as B-I-G brought out his label boss and they performed their “I Don’t Like (Remix)” and his recently-released “Blessings” track. Big Sean closed the night by performing his most notable, recently released track “IDFWU.”

Ty Dolla $ign, YG and Justin Bieber also joined the party with others who had already performed with Sean during the night.

One year after stealing the spotlight with his Vivienne Westwood hat, returned to the Grammys to perform his chart-topping hit “ .” With some help from Hans Zimmer and pianist Lang Lang, Skateboard P delivered a unique, theatrical version of the upbeat tune.

He also paid tribute to the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” movement as his dancers rocked hoodies and put their hands in the air.

“Thank you, God. I forgot to say it earlier, but as you can see, I’m at your service, Lord,” he said at the end of his set.

Pharrell went home with three awards including Best Music Video for “Happy,” Best Urban Contemporary Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Xzibit
After generating buzz on the underground scene with his first two albums At the Speed of Life and 40 Days and 40 Nights Xzibit caught the attention of Dr. Dre, who joined forces with him along with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Eminem for his breakthrough third album, Restless in 2000. The album went platinum and spawned his most successful song “X”. Xzibit began expanding his brand into movies, video games, and TV, most notably acting as host of MTV’s Pimp My Ride, starting in 2004. When the show was cancelled in 2007, it marked a huge decline in the Detroit rapper’s income and popularit, though he continued to make music and act. He filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and 2010 but was denied. In his latest TV gig, Xzibit became a part of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition cast. He appeared on the BET Hip-Hop cypher of 2012, and later released the album Na**lm and set out on tour.
