Our Story

African inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Melbourne. Down the stairs from @GlampBar

Our tasty food is designed for sharing.

We proudly serve African and local boutique beers, crafty cocktails, and fine wines. Our name comes from the Swahili expression for ‘go slowly’ reminding us to live in the moment. Through sales of African beers and ciders we support ‘Women for Women in Africa’. PS. polēpolē is pronounced pol-eh-pol-eh. Over 18's only.
