John Waters’ gloriously filthy 1981 cult classic Polyester is a full sensory assault on suburban respectability, complete with everything you’d expect from Waters: depravity, melodrama, bad behaviour, ridiculous characters and a whole lot of stupid fun. And because watching John Waters isn’t enough, we’re bringing in ODORAMA. Every ticket comes with an Odorama card, letting you scratch, sniff and experience the smells of Polyester exactly as John Waters intended.

Wanna scratch and sniff with a friend but don’t want to fork out the extra $$?
Grab our Cheap Skate Ticket for Two and share the experience.
One Odorama card. Two pairs of nostrils.
Scratch it. Sniff it. Pass it on. Repeat until you’re sick.

See youse there!

Whilst this was and still is a thank you post to everyone who joined us on Grand Final Day and helped us raise $450 for the ASRC we wanted to share a pretty s**t update.

The ASRC have had two of their vans stolen today. These vans are used for their catering social enterprise which provides employment opportunities for refugees and people seeking asylum.

So if you can spare a few bucks, please consider donating to help them replace what’s been lost.

Donate via the link in our bio.

Statistically, family and domestic violence increases around major sporting events. Australia recorded an 8% increase in family and domestic violence during the 2024–25 financial year and in 2019 Victorian police were preparing for reports of domestic and family violence to increase by as much as 20% over Grand Final Day.

For a lot of people what looks like a day of celebration can be a very different experience.

A 10% surcharge will be applied to all transactions this Grand Final Day with 100% of that surcharge donated to the Asylum Seeker Resource Center (ASRC).

The ASRC supports people seeking asylum and refugees in Australia, providing everything from food and housing to legal help, healthcare, financial support and help getting back on their feet. They also do a lot of work supporting people experiencing family and gender based violence.

If you’re spending Grand Final Day at Kent St you know that extra 10% is going somewhere good and if you’d like to show more support we’ve linked their website in our bio for donations.

If you are experiencing family violence or believe someone you know is at risk, it is never too late to report an incident.

If you need support, please contact:
Safe Steps - 1800 015 188
No to Violence - 1300 766 491

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call Triple Zero (000).
