With sadness, I’ve just learnt of Wally’s passing back in Jan 22’.
Belinda Piccone was walking through the Melb cemetery in Carlton and saw this memorial plaque. Thanks for sharing Jo.

Hi everyone, I hope this finds you well.
Thinking it’d be great to get together later this year (Oct) for a drinks catch up. Just a casual ‘meet at this pub from 6.30pm sort of thing’. It’ll be in the CBD or Sth Melb area.

Yesterday, we farewelled Arran Lilley with a moving tribute that brought tears, laughter and lots of memories.
He was a unique character, much-loved and with a big heart.
He’ll be always missed, but may his wings now be open and his troubles gone.
RIP Azza, fly on 💔💖🙏

GCP Family, pls see the below note from Kerryn, advising that Arran Lilley has very sadly passed in the last couple of days..way too young and way too soon, since the diagnosis of cancer just before Xmas. It would be great if you could make the service to honour this great man. I'll let you all know when more details are known re where the service will be held. Take care all x♥️

The life and passing of a great man, husband, father, sibling, colleague and friend - Dale Kidd, was celebrated today in Gisborne, where he and his beautiful family have spent most of their collective lives.

It was a touching and fitting tribute to Dale, who lived his life with integrity and honour and left with dignity and grace - exactly as he deserved, albeit far too young at 70.

Stories were told, tears were shed and memories were reinforced amongst a gathering of many, such was the love for this worthy and wonderful human.

I first met Dale in 1988 and we’ve been colleagues and friends since. I’ll miss him, but nothing like his family will. He was the centre of their universe and that was so evident today.

May you Rest In Peace Dale 🙏💕

It was also great to see Jo Picone Young there x

Hi GCP Family,

It is with a very sad heart that I'm writing to let you know that Dale Kidd passed away late last week....his daughter Cherie has been in touch with Jo to ask her to let his GCP family know.

We don't know much else as yet, though do know that Dale has been battling MS for a while now.
Nikki and I only saw him a few short months ago though and he was sprightly and well then :(

The service will be next Tuesday the 9th Aug @ 11am - and we assume it will be in Gisborne, though will confirm this ASAP.
Of course, it would be great if a few (many) of us could be there, not only to farewell a great man and long-term friend, but to support his beautiful family in this difficult time x

Please pass this on to anyone else you think would like to know.

I hope this finds you all well.
Here’s a bunch of stuff I found today whilst sorting out some boxes.
There’s some classic memories in here, along with sad ones like Mr. C’s passing 🥲.
It’s amazing, that 20+ years from when we became Boise and Swan St was no longer, the legacy of the business still carries on so strong.
It was special ⭐️
