Dear Members and Visitors,

In light of the Government's decision to close all non-essential services due to the coronavirus, unfortunately we will be temporarily closed.

We are currently trying to work through the issues as to what we can and can't do for our Members. So please check our website or Facebook for updates. We do not have a re-opening date as yet. To all our valued Members and visitors, please stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

It is important that we, as a community club, support one another in any way we can, whilst ensuring we look after our own health and wellbeing. Stay home if you are unwell, follow medical and government advice and stay emotionally connected with your family and friends. Pick up the phone and have a chat to loved ones.

Our dear member, the lovely George Brown, celebrated his 90th birthday with his wonderful family at The SOC on Saturday!! Happy 90th Birthday, George from all of us here. What a great milestone. We're so glad you and your family had an enjoyable time. 🥳🍽🥂🎂🍷💐😄🎉🎈

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a BIG thank you to those who donated gifts to the children at the Monash Children’s Hospital. You made such a difference to Christmas for so many ill kiddies! 🎁😍 Also a BIG shout out to our awesome Operations Manager, Ashley Rosse who personally delivered all the gifts to the Hospital on Christmas Eve! They were SO appreciative. Thatta boy, Santa Ash! 🎅🏻🤩😃👏👍

7.30pm TONIGHT, in the WINNEBAGO LOUNGE, local veterinarians Dr Singh and Dr Sara from EAST BENTLEIGH ANIMAL CARE are very kindly coming in to give a FREE talk and Q&A session on your pets! So come on in, have a meal (better book first 9579 4855) and/or grab a drink, bring it in with you and get some great info and helpful tips about your lil furry loved ones! 😻🐱🐹🐰🐸🐦🐟

ANOTHER EXCITING RAFFLE NIGHT TONIGHT!! Great prizes! We have big shopping bags of assorted crisps as well as the nice wines and beers BUT also something new...a couple of Xmas Gingerbread House Kits - decorate your own then eat 'em!! AND.. of course, there is the spectacular MEAT TRAY, put together and supplied by the wonderful DES from TASMAN MEATS in Centre Dandenong Rd next to the Moorabbin Airport! Thanks Des. Yep, we know it's cold & wet tonight...but come on down to The SOC where it's warm, have a great meal and WIN WIN WIN a wonderful prize in FRIDAY NIGHT'S CLUB RAFFLES! Tonight we have the usual meat trays, bottles of wine, packs of beer, venue vouchers..BUT..also Mandy's Mystery Bags and Brekky Packs! Mandy won't tell us what's in the bags but she said that one of them is "DEATH BY CHOCOLATE!!!" Whoa! Whatta way to go!!! 😲😛 The Brekky Pack has a dozen eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, avocado, crumpets and tomatoes! That's Sunday morning sorted for ya!

Melbourne Cup Day Fashion SOC! On Tuesday, we'll run a competition for the Best Dressed on the day before the Big Race and the lucky winner will take home this lovely prize, given with compliments of The SOC and Oatley Wines. It is a beautiful hard case hamper containing a bottle of bubbly and a lovely assortment of delicious chocolates and treats! You gotta be here to win it!
