Hello. DJs Steve &Kez still really really love music, but since Covid the opportunities for live DJing seem to have decreased substantially (plus, you know, 'life' stuff taking precedence).
We're still happy to keep this page up as an archive, a reminder of some fun times slinging original retro vinyl on turntables for the dancers, the interested, the bored, and anyone else (including occasionally visiting international rock-stars...) We enjoyed creating special playlists for event sessions, uncovering the sweet, kooky and weird in the corners of genres, and meeting new like-minded music nerds.
Perhaps we'll be back in the venues one day, perhaps we won't. But thank you for your interest at the time. Cheers!

Next Friday 30th seems to be a public holiday here in Melbourne. DJ Kez will be playing some ye olde vinyl records down at The Gem in Collingwood. It'd be a totally good idea to come down for a bit.

This Saturday night 16th July at The Gem (7pm-1am, free entry, Wellington St Collingweird), DJ Kez will be bringin' some old vinyl records and playing the music thereon for the enjoyment of those in attendance. If you're leaping and bounding about in the area it could make a good refuelling pit-stop on the way/way back/betweener. Here's to your good health!

Something special: This Saturday 3rd of April, DJ Kez spinning soul, Motown, funk, girlgroup, original R&B and disco at The Boatbuilders Yard, near the Polly Woodside, South Wharf, on the Yarra. Could be good for dinner and/or 'date night' too? Or on the way to/after a Comedy Fest show? I plan on having fun and bringing the sweet sounds. May see you there!

This SUNDAY night, DJ Kez will be DJing at The Retreat in Brunswick, after the bands. The Retreat is promoting Soul Sundays, so it'll be all soul, R&B, Northern, even a bit of disco (It'll be a bit more diverse than Motown's Greatest Hits on shuffle!)
