Hey, this is Josh Mancussi Thomas, he’s going to be making his debhoo this Friday night!
We asked Josh how he got into Improv this is what he shared: “I was first introduced to performing arts and improv by my grade 4 teacher, Ms. Hawker. I remember playing “Thank God You’re Here” in the back room of our dingy old portable. It was the most glorious of fun and I fell in love with acting and performance right then and there. Many years later I joined the Monash Law R***e and started doing sketch comedy. This was my first real go at making comedy and I absolutely loved it. After a few years of trying sketch comedy I discovered The Improv Conspiracy theatre. Funnily enough I was introduced to it by my grade 4 teacher, Ms. Hawker! Our families remained friends over the years and it popped up on my Facebook that she’d given a lesson a try at TIC. So I gave it a go myself and have never looked back. I love it.”
