New York's Julius Rodriguez brings his electrifying trio to Bird's Basement for one night only. Praised by The New York Times as "truly brilliant in every setting," Julius moves fluidly between piano and drums, channeling jazz, R&B, gospel, and hip-hop into a singular voice. The trio features Julius Rodriguez (piano), with bass and drums to be announced shortly — check the campaign page for updates as the band is confirmed.

New York-born, Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Julius Rodriguez blends jazz, funk, R&B, and soul into a sound entirely his own. Performing in West Village jazz clubs since age 11, he later honed his craft at Juilliard before leaving to tour with A$AP Rocky. His two albums on Verve Records — Let Sound Tell All (2022) and Evergreen (2024) — showcase his ability to push the boundaries of contemporary jazz. Collaborators include Meshell Ndegeocello, Chris Botti, Kurt Elling, Carmen Lundy, Lianne La Havas, and Madison McFerrin.
