Not many of our jobs are small, but this one was extra special for a very high-profile client.

Chris Christofi — the man behind Reventon and a long-time supporter of snooker over the years — recently ordered a brand new 7ft hardwood table featuring:

• Black stain finish
• Black cloth
• White nets with secret pockets
• 9-inch brassie legs

The finished product has come up an absolute treat and was fully installed in his penthouse in St Kilda.

On this week’s episode of Dodgy Dave and His Trailer, the boys decided to have a crack at moving a 10ft billiard table… bold move considering they clearly had no idea what they were doing.

Result? Table damaged, dumped outside like it was council cleanup, stopping the property gate from being locked and the job abandoned — leaving the customer wondering if they’d accidentally booked a comedy act instead of removalists.

Thankfully, the team at Allstar came in, cleaned up the mess, transported the table properly, and installed it the way it should’ve been done the first time.

At this point, it’s almost becoming a daily occurrence. So here’s a tip: if you’re moving a pool table, don’t just hire a bloke with a trailer and a bit of confidence. Make sure they’re insured, experienced, and actually know what they’re doing.
