Our Story

A Russian ballroom, a wax museum, a punk bar and tea shop, these are some of our previous things. Built in 1938, established in 1993, Big Mouth is an institution in itself and often referred to as a St Kilda icon.Big Mouth is big, we span two levels across one of St Kilda’s finest public art deco buildings. Our recent refurbishment has us looking good enough to eat. Big Mouth is doing what she has always done, but just a little bit better. Serve good food and good booze to the people of St Kilda.
