BRYC was well represented at the recent Victorian Sailing Summit, with Commodore Randal and Junior Sailing Coordinator Peter attending on behalf of the club.

The day brought together clubs, class associations and Discover Sailing Centres from across Victoria, with discussions covering participation, youth development, inclusion, club leadership and the future of sailing.

And excitingly Peter was one of the lucky door prize winners on the day!!

WINTER FRIDAYS ARE HERE ❄️

As the weather cools down, Friday nights at the club are getting a winter makeover.

Starting this Friday, we'll be running a different themed dinner night each week throughout June and July, before returning again in September.

1st Friday - Winter Menu + Live Music (This Friday with Music by Charley!)
2nd Friday - Greek Cypriot Night
3rd Friday - American BBQ Night
4th Friday - Seafood Night

And for the 5th Friday in July... we'll throw in an extra Winter Bistro Night.

The regular Thursday Bistro will now take a break for winter, but the bar remains open and you are always welcome to BYO food or takeaway.

Think roaring fire, winter comfort food, good company and an excuse to get out of the house.

This is what a community club looks like 💙

More than 40 members came down on Saturday for our Working Bee. Sailors, swimmers, paddlers, committee members, and plenty of familiar faces all giving up a few hours to help out around the club.

And what a difference a few hours can make... we got:

- Painting
- Wood cutting and firewood management
- Weeding and garden tidy-ups
- Building storage racks
- Planning boat storage improvements
- Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, rolled up their sleeves, and pitched in.
