So.... you may or may not be aware so here it is. We have officially closed our doors. It has been an amazing journey!! We have had a wide range of artists play at our humble venue and to them & you, for supporting the cause, we give you our thanks!

Last night, we saw & heard CATFISH , THE DROPBEARS & DARCEE FOX, all 3 were rockin & big thanks to them & you!!

Tonight it's Ben Laguda from the band Massive on a solo set, followed by the 2 piece MOD who play 50's inspired dirty flithy ROCK and to close the show it's the man with a bit of buzz behind him, HARTS. Looks and sounds like a fusion between PRINCE & HENDRIX and has all the sounds and moves to back up the buzz!

On Sunday its a family day with a midday start, special sets from RAWDEMIA at 3pm and ALFI ROCKER from (DIRTY DEEDS) at 9pm to close the show!!

Last show of the tour is this Saturday night at The Sound Bar!
(Hoppers Crossing, 30mins from Melbourne CBD)
It's my local venue/studio and also where I rehearse and film those live videos on YouTube. Unfortunately the venue is facing hard times and this could probably be the last show ever there, before the venue is forced to close. (Which also means no more live videos from me in that green room). So come down to the show if you can! It would be awesome to see you there and money raised on the night will go towards keeping the place alive and continuing to provide a killer local live music venue, rehearsal place and studio for musicians like me.
Plus me and my drummer are going to put on a killer show!

So... This could quite possibly be the last weekend of shows. I say COULD because it all rests with you. The live original music lover. The punter. We have had a few quiet months which has resulted in a notice which would end live music here and actually end The Sound Bar. Can it be stopped ? Yes is the good news, but it won't be easy, in fact, it will be a massive challenge!

This weekend is marked as LAST DRINKS as it could be exactly that!

Friday night - If you like bands such as Palace of the King, then Friday you are in for treat with CATFISH - DROPBEARS and finally to close the night, local legends DARCEE FOX.

Sat- Ben Laguda (solo) & If you like 2 pce rock like MY OLD DUTCH , then MOD will be your thing with HARTS, yes HARTS closing the show.

SUNDAY JAM IS ON ( FAMILY DAY) at a special time starting at midday which may be the last jam ever here at the bar! RAWDEMIA on at 3PM as a special guest :D

So back to can this all be avoided?
YES! is the good part! but it would almost take everyone of you to come down, get some great live original music into you and buy a cold drink, maybe 2 ;) . Whether it's to save the bar or to say goodbye, one thing is certain. We will ROCK this place like never before & from all that have helped in some way to keep this dream alive on behalf of them & myself, we are truly grateful for the experience of running a live music venture for the past 6 years that has come to be known as one of the best sounding ones and we are so so grateful for every opportunity to bring those that have graced our stage to the limelight!

Next Friday the shows kick off again , Friday is a treat with a jam beforehand & then the blues trio Lectric Mule, come and hear 3 awesome players Ash ,Jamie & George smash out some killer blues

Then on Saturday, it's As Crows Fly, Prophetess & Arakeye ,it will be a fine weekend of live music here!

Tonight & tomorrow its an open stage ,open jam.
