RSL Victoria strive to go far beyond the minimum standards required when it comes to gambling harm minimisation.

This continues with RSL Victoria’s support of Gambling Harm Awareness Week 2026 with its headline message ‘Bet Different. Risk Less.’

The key theme of this year’s campaign is a three-step process to reduce gambling risk:

Pause, reflect and reset
Taking regular breaks can help people stay aware of the time they're spending gambling and make more informed decisions about whether to continue.

Less often, lower risk
Reducing how often you gamble can help reduce your risk of experiencing gambling harm.

Make a plan before play
Setting an exact time limit before you gamble and sticking to it – even when winning can help reduce the risk of experiencing gambling harm

RSL Victoria and its Sub-Branches will share the message of Gambling Harm Awareness Week 2026 on social media and in-venue through the week.
