Over 20 years ago Cherry was founded down AC/DC Lane (at that time Corporation Lane) and has since moved from our beloved basement (400 odd metres away) to be just that little bit closer to Parliament House. We're still proudly presenting exciting artists on our stage (now with a seperate, dedicated band room on the first floor) and will be doing so for many years to come! Positioned within the Melbourne theatre district, you can rely on us for a stiff drink, cosy spot to hide, functions (with multiple spaces to cater with) and DJ's that keep the joint rockin’ ‘til late!

Halloween is going straight to hell at Cherry.

This Saturday 31st October, we’re summoning the freaks, ghouls, rockers and general creatures of the night for a full-blown rock ’n’ roll Halloween party.

Live on stage: HZED launching their self-titled debut EP, with DevilMonkey and Death of Art bringing the noise. Then Cherry DJs take over until dawn with a filthy selection of spooky rock ’n’ roll classics.

Costumes encouraged. Bad decisions inevitable.
Hell’s full, but we’re still open.
