Over 20 years ago Cherry was founded down AC/DC Lane (at that time Corporation Lane) and has since moved from our beloved basement (400 odd metres away) to be just that little bit closer to Parliament House. Now, we're told there's no electricity in the city tonight and that we should go home.

But Cherry Bar can't afford to be closed, so we will be open tonight, Monday, till 2am even if we're serving cans from an esky by Candlelight and taking IOUs.
