Well, an end to an era! The Sly Grog Club will be in new hands shortly and you will see a brand new look to the website and Social Media.
I am using this time to thank all our Suppliers, Customers and people who have helped make the Sly Grog Club a success.
My personal pride is that I discovered the Online Liquor license and created a new revenue for not just other people like Simon and I but the state of Victoria.
To fill the requirements I had to learn how to make a website. At the time there was no company in Australia that would provide a dashboard to build a website and host it for free. I finally found Webs.com , a site located in America.
We originally used phone number that was a landline. Later on I decided that my business mobile phone number would be a great deal better for customers to remember and use.
So we started off the Sly Grog Club with the bones for an awesome online presence.
The hardest problem was at that time was computers were very expensive and the few homes that had one usually had children using them.
So I soon realised this was the real problem for us. Around this time mobile phones progressed and became handheld computers with browser functionality.
Next to these hiccups were numerous challenges that we overcame step by step over years.
I have been writing about our adventures, people who helped (or the nameless who hindered) along the way in ebooks. We certainly wouldn't have made it without the generosity of so many people over the years.
