He hopped through the halls, explored backstage, inspected the technical equipment and even tried his paw at the ticket counter, all while getting ready for his upcoming show.

Meet Alisha Mwangi, one of the guest artists joining our Artist in Residence, Giovanni Adams, for the premiere of Motown Legacy.

An emerging Kenyan Australian artist currently training at Patrick School of the Arts in Melbourne, Alisha will make her professional debut in this brand-new show.

Joining Giovanni and Kristin Paulse on the Drum Theatre stage, Alisha will bring her voice to timeless Motown songs and powerful stories of migration, belonging and cultural legacy.
