The Legend of Sake: Aramasa Brewery and Four Exceptional Bottles
We are proud to introduce four exquisite sake selections from the legendary Aramasa Brewery in Akita, Japan. Two of these bottles have secured spots in the Top 5 of the 2024 SAKETIME Sake Rankings, widely recognized among the finest sake in Japan.
🏯 Aramasa Brewery: A Harmony of Tradition and Innovation
Founded in 1852, Aramasa is one of Japan’s oldest sake breweries and the birthplace of the iconic Kyokai No.6 yeast strain, now used across Japan. Under the 8th-generation brewer Yusuke Sato, Aramasa has redefined sake brewing by returning to its roots—using only Akita-grown rice, traditional kimoto methods, and cedar wood fermentation barrels to produce natural, terroir-driven sake of the highest integrity.
