Axil Coffee The name Lost Angel is a reference to having arrived from Bangkok.

The Thai refer to their capital city as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, which is derived from Pali and Sanskrit root words, and translates as ‘City of Angels’. For us who call Melbourne home now, Lost Angel evokes an idea of a physical separation from their roots, associations and memories with Bangkok - the multicultural, economic and social hub of Thailand. Certainly not lost, we are very clear about ou

r intentions of bringing authentic Thai fare with fusion twists to Melbourne’s diverse and vibrant food culture. Lost Angel creates an inviting ambience with contemporary architecture and interiors. Well-lit monochromatic spaces serve as a background for bursts of colour offered by the strategically-placed-to-catch-the-eye yellow furniture and red crockery. Guests are welcomed through a beautiful front courtyard with alfresco dining spaces and a mini herb garden; leading into the main service area with different seating arrangements such as lounge sofas, bar stools and dining tables.
