Apparently Part 1 “cut out” right before the reveal… 👀

The messages I got 😂
“Lisa, the video cut off!”
“Where’s the AFTER?!”
“YOU DIDN’T SHOW US THE HAIR!”

Ummm… yes babes. That was the point. 😂😂

So HERE SHE IS… Bec’s first blonding session. 🤍✨

Now, we knew from the beginning that getting Bec back to her dream blonde was going to be a process. With years between appointments, old permanent colour through the mids and a whole lot of regrowth to work through, this was never going to be a one-session job.

Our plan? 2–3 blonding sessions, taking it slowly and keeping the health of her hair our number one priority.

BUT… we were actually pretty surprised by how blonde she lifted in session ONE. 😮‍💨👏🏼

Is she at our final destination yet? Nope.

Are we VERY happy with stop number one? ABSOLUTELY. 🤌🏼✨

Healthy hair first. Beautiful blonde second. And we’re already well on our way. 🤍

Now THAT was worth making you wait for Part 2. 😂

✨ L’ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL STYLE & COLOUR TROPHY 2026 ✨

FINALLY… we’re allowed to share the photos. ❤️‍🔥

This was my final look created on my beautiful model Mikki for the L’Oréal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy SA Finals 2026 — and what a day it was.

Six hours. One model. A whole lot of colour, creativity, adrenaline… and one VERY big red fringe. 🔥😂

To have FOUR of our Beyond Beautiful team named amongst the 15 SA finalists was already something I’ll never forget. Walking into finals day alongside my girls, all representing our salon and creating our own individual looks, was one of those holy s**t, look how far we’ve come moments. 🥹

We didn’t take home the trophy this year, but I walked away ridiculously proud — of Mikki, of this creation, of myself and especially of our team.

Because four finalists from one salon?
That feels like a win to me. 🏆✨

Thank you L’Oréal Professionnel and L’Oréal Professionnel Paris🇦🇺 for giving us a platform to push ourselves creatively, step outside our comfort zones and celebrate this incredible industry we get to be part of.

And Mikki… thank you for trusting the process, the colour, the chaos and THAT FRINGE. ❤️‍🔥

When your client comes back after YEARS away… you know we’re not doing anything quietly. 👀✨

Bec walked back through my doors ready to be BLONDE again — and she handed me the words every hairdresser loves to hear…

“Do whatever you want.” 😏

We were working with years of regrowth, natural greys, permanent colour banding through the mids, blonde ends and a grown-out bob… so this was never going to be your standard blonde appointment.

This was a full colour correction. A complete transformation. And I had a PLAN. 🤌🏼

Foils flying. Colour theory working overtime. Scissors out.

And then…

Today the Beyond Beautiful team was back in education mode with an incredible training day learning the art of French Balayage with the amazing Pj 🤎

Fresh techniques, new inspiration and even more ways to create beautiful, bespoke colour for our clients.

We’re forever learning, forever evolving… and we can’t wait to bring a little more French Balayage magic into the salon. ✨

Today, four of us from Beyond Beautiful had the incredible opportunity to compete as L’Oréal Colour Trophy finalists — and what an experience it was.

Months of ideas, planning, colour, creativity, second guessing, changing our minds 😂 and pushing ourselves outside our comfort zones all came down to today… and we honestly could not be happier.

We can’t show you what we created just yet 👀 but we can tell you that we walked away feeling so bloody proud of ourselves and each other.

To L’Oréal Professionnel, thank you for giving hairdressers a platform to dream bigger, create without limits and celebrate this incredible industry we get to be part of.

And to our beautiful clients, friends, families and everyone who messaged, commented, wished us luck and cheered us on — THANK YOU. We felt every bit of it. ❤️

Whatever happens from here, today was already a win for us.

Four finalists. One salon. One very tired, very happy team. 🥹😂🥂
