A toast to the King!
We’re set for a busy weekend as the region celebrates a three-day weekend.
We’re open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner but then we’ll be off on Monday - celebrating King Charles' birthday 👑👑.
We are sure His Majesty would approve of a celebratory drink - or two - in his honour at our pub. Come and join us!

All aboard to Maroona.
Sadly you can’t catch a train to the pub - we’re working on it 😉 - but there are many other modes of transport available to reach this destination!
We promise we are worth the journey (and the fuel) AND you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a train rattling through our backyard.

And on Thursdays…we make burgers.
Back in the day the footy club trained - and played - on the oval next door.
These days that oval is no longer used, but this is the country - and the 16km drive to the Tatyoon Football and Netball Club is practically “just around the corner”.
So on Thursdays we deliver meals to the club after training.
Tonight it was 130 burgers for hungry footballers!

Our pub is a grand old lady.
She’s been an icon in the community for many years.
But even icons need a little make over every now and then….
We’ve refitted the inside and continue to make improvements, including ensuring access for all.
We welcome everyone to the Maroona Hotel - open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.
Come and say hello!

Something exciting is coming….
Break out the mulled wine, we’re planning a warming winter celebration.
Further details to follow - including the menu and cost - but mark it into your calendar - it's sure to be an afternoon of good food and lots of festive cheer!

When the sun sets and the stars come out and the heaters go on!

We’re open Saturday until 11pm and Sunday until 9pm.

What a joyful Sunday we had last week.
So many happy mums celebrating Mother’s Day at our inaugural lunch and afternoon tea.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Who better to treat a mum, than a mum!
Jody is already hard at work in the kitchen prepping ahead of our arrivals for our special lunch and afternoon tea.

She’ll certainly be ready to put her feet up tonight!
And even though she’ll spend the day working, we know Sophie, Millie and James will have planned something to celebrate their wonderful mum.

Plus don’t forget to ring if you were planning to come in today and don’t have a booking.

We’re back open today and gearing up for a big week ahead!
As well as our regular lunch and dinner service, we have our inaugural Mother’s Day lunch and afternoon tea on Sunday.
Plus we have our newly-installed Melbourne Bitter beer on tap - which we know you love, and has been bringing in the thirsty crowds!
We’d love to see you - but a booking will be wise this week - we’d hate to see you miss out.
