As most of you will have read today the Victorian police have given summons for Cardinal George Pell to appear before a Victorian Magistrate Court for historic s*x charges.
At this time our thoughts and best wishes are with the survivors who may be affected by this directly or indirectly - know that there is support if you need it. Having worked with 13 beautiful survivors for our production of 'No More Silence' we, the board of Wordsmith Theatre Australia, want to express our respect for all those with the bravery to come forward. Each person willing to speak out and voice their experience helps to drive another nail into the coffin of child s*xual abuse. We stand with you, we see your pain, we see your hardship but we also see your strength.

Coming very soon to Ballarat, Bairnsdale and Geelong is our production of No More Silence. This show is curated and directed by the very talented Hannah Davies and Fae O'Toole who are recent Federation University Arts Academy graduates. Our cast includes choreographer Lewis Beer, composer Patrick Schnur as well as actors Raymond Martini, Madeleine Dunkley, Brendan Faulks, David Gallagher, Iopu Auva'a and Tess Walsh.
