WE’RE HIRING | BAR STAFF + FOOD RUNNERS 🍻

Due to growth, we’re looking for a couple of good people to join the team at the Argyle Hotel Maclean.

More than anything, we want people who are naturally great with people.

Our locals are at the heart of the Argyle. Looking after our community, remembering faces, making people feel welcome and delivering genuinely good service matters to us.

We’re also a destination venue for travellers heading both north and south, so every guest should feel looked after, enjoy the experience and want to come back.

For bar staff, a current RSA is required.
For food runners, a Food Safety Certificate is required.

Experience is great, but attitude, reliability, warmth and being good with people matter just as much.

A few nice words from the people who walk through our doors. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

To our Maclean locals, the travellers passing through, the families, the tradies, the farmers, the weekenders and everyone who has taken the time to leave us a review, thank you.

Every bit of feedback means something to us.

And to the crew behind it all, our kitchen team, floor staff, bartenders, duty managers and everyone keeping the Argyle moving, these reviews are yours too.

They make us walk into a new week proud of what we’re doing, but more importantly, wanting to do it even better.

Settle in for a proper Cup Day at the Argyle.

From 12pm, join us in The Stables for a three-course shared feast, a glass of sparkling on arrival and an afternoon of Melbourne Cup fun.

$69 per person includes:

ON THE MENU

To Start
Warm sourdough, whipped butter
Salt & pepper squid, lemon, aioli
Tomato & whipped feta bruschetta

Mains
Slow roasted beef sirloin, red wine jus
Herb roasted chicken, lemon, garlic, pan jus

For the Table
Crispy roasted potatoes, rosemary, sea salt
Seasonal greens, sliced almond, lemon butter
Rocket, pear, parmesan salad, balsamic dressing

A Sweet Finish
Mini pavlovas, berries, passionfruit, cream
Chocolate brownie, salted caramel, vanilla cream

And once the race is done, there’s no need to rush off. Take over the courtyard or veranda, settle in for the afternoon and, if the weather calls for it, we’ll get the fireplace going.

Good food, a few laughs, a bit of friendly competition and one of the best afternoons of the year at the Argyle.
