We will be attending the Mackay & Whitsundays Wedding Expo at the Mackay Showgrounds, this Saturday 4pm-8pm!

The team will be down there with some of our hire gear & our bar trailer on display.
We will also have samples from our New DIY Cake Bar (make your own toppings & flavours) & will be serving up canapés in the VIP area.

Our off site Catering truck will also be at the Showgrounds for you to purchase dinner whilst you are there!

This wedding was an absolute vibe!

Married out on their family’s property, surrounded by all of their favourite people!

A beautiful afternoon ceremony, shortly followed by a selection of hot finger food items & an antipasto platter out for the guests to graze on whilst the newly wedded bride & groom went & got some amazing photos!

Which then followed into a relaxed banquet style dinner!
On the menu was-
• Seared eye fillet w red wine jus and salsa verde
• Rosemary and thyme grilled chicken with lemon cream sauce
• Green bean salad with curry butter, semi dried tomatoes, flaked almonds and crispy prosciutto
• Honey Harrisa carrots with whipped feta, toasted pine nuts and coriander
• Garlic buttered smashed potatoes

It didn’t take long & the whole group was up on their feet, dancing the night away!

We love event season, last weekend was full of multiple functions & two weddings🕺🏼

Some of the pics we did manage (aka remember) amongst the chaotic few days, was of some of the finger food, that was a part of a delivery & check out one of our customer cars loaded with 14 platters heading out to the Nebo rodeo!

Behind a plate up, we reset, then we start again, sometimes it even feels like we move this quick 😉

The menu from Marricka & Micheal’s wedding, did not leave their guests hungry, but definitely wanting more 🤤

Canapé’s -
💫Tomato, bocconcini and basil sticks
💫Spicy tempura prawns with kaffir lime aioli
💫Five spice, salt and pepper calamari with house tartare
💫Thai chicken satay skewers
💫Smoked brisket and slaw sliders

Main Course -
⚡️Herbed chicken with potato and leek Gallette, broccolini and Dutch carrots
⚡️Seared eye fillet with sour cream and chive mash, green beans, and red wine jus garnished with semi dried tomatoes and wilted spinach

Dessert -
✨Lemon and meringue tartlet with mascapone cream, mixed berries, basil syrup and raspberry dust
✨Apple bites with cinnamon sugar and creamy anglaise
