Big weekend in the Riverland with the Winter Wine Down in Renmark where Cirami's Saperavi caused an unsurprising stir- what a cracking wine from Cirami and 919 wines!!
We also had a monstrous weekend at the Wine Centre. Thanks to all that visited and for your chilled approach to a busy weekend. We are closed tomorrow as per usual for Public Holidays.

Nippys Tastings Are Here! 🍊🍎

While Mum and Dad enjoy exploring our local wines, the kids can enjoy their very own tasting flight featuring a selection of Nippys, juices and flavoured mineral waters.

A fun little experience designed especially for our younger visitors, so the whole family can enjoy their visit together! 🍇🧃

Wow- well who would have thought juice could be so interesting- certainly not us!
Our post yesterday created some great discussion on the appropriateness of having a juice tasting available for kids at the Wine Centre. We do have many people keen to be a part of a tasting experience but without the alcohol. Also quite often families want to provide some more interesting options for their kids so we originally wanted to come up with an alternative for people visiting that was interesting, tasty and importantly Riverland, so Nippys was a great option!
It was great to read a couple of differing opinions on how it comes across so our new tasting board will be simply offered as a NIPPYS TASTING providing an option for those keen to be part of a Riverland tasting experience when visiting the Wine Centre.
We also proudly promote a couple of newly released non alcoholic Riverland Spritzers from Black Sheep and Pundi produce which taste great and provide other great alternatives for visitors. Riverlander’s continue to innovate and promote our wonderful region and we are proud to be a small part of sharing this with as many as we can!

Riverland Wine Centre Annual Maintenance Time!

It’s that time of year again, our annual two week maintenance! February is our quietest month, so we’re taking the chance to give the Centre a bit of a touch up and take care of some much needed maintenance and make sure Seamus gets his ears checked.

We’ll be shut: Monday 16th February – back open Monday 2nd March.

During this time we encourage you to seek out any of our many local cellar doors for your wine fix, such as Angoves Family Winemakers and Mallee Estate Wines, Renmark, Whistling Kite Wines, New Residence, 919 Wines, Monash, Bassham Wines and Kristalana Wines, Barmera and Burk Salter Boutique Wines, Blanchetown.

A Riverland Champion Returns

Katri and Seamus stand in front of the award winning Saperavi vines at Cirami Estate, a powerful symbol of the passion and resilience behind this celebrated Riverland label.

Created by the Riverland Vine Improvement Committee (RVIC), Cirami Estate has showcased Riverland grown emerging varietals since 2011. The label gained world recognition in 2018 when its 2015 Saperavi was named the best in the world in Georgia.

After a pause in production, Cirami has returned in collaboration with the award winning team at 919 Wines and the Riverland Wine Centre. The recently released 2024 Saperavi alongside the newly released Montepulciano has been a standout at the Riverland Wine Centre.

Another year done and we have been proud to share so many wonderful Riverland Wines with our visitors throughout 2025- challenging palates, changing perspectives and enjoying the fruits of our magnificent Riverland region with everyone.
2026 looks challenging but there are also new varieties coming to bottle which we can't wait to share with you all!
We thank everyone for being part of the Riverland wine story this year and we hope 2026 is filled with fun and some spectacular Riverland Wine- Happy New Year from us all. 🥂🍾
