A beautiful day at Lara Golf Club for the Durbridge-Bate Challenge Bowl! ☀️⛳

Sally, Sue E and Chris represented LCC in a strong field of 21 teams, finishing a very respectable 12th with 93 points. Congratulations to Portarlington, who took out the event with 104 points.

Things were looking a little grim when we missed out on the raffle prizes, but the day ended on a high when Sue and Chris took home the lucky chair prizes! 🤣👏

After an incredible Men’s Pennant season that saw LCC finish top of the table, we unfortunately fell short in yesterday’s final held at The Sands Torquay, with Queens Park taking the win 5 & 2.

Congratulations to all the Lorne boys on an exceptional season. A fantastic achievement and one the whole club is proud of. We’ve no doubt the team will be back next year determined to go one better!

You did us all proud fellas — well done! 👏⛳️

Queens Park hosted our final Pennant match of the season, where we came away with a 3.5/1.5 win over Ocean Grove! ⛳️

A fantastic season saw us finish 2nd on the ladder, just behind Lonsdale Links who took home the flag.
Congratulations to them on a great season!

Unfortunately, celebrations were briefly interrupted when Sally was caught attempting to steal the silverware… 🏆😂
