The biggest news coming out of Beeac yesterday is that Chris Angus has won the Beeac Open A Grade Nett! 🏆👏👏👏

What a lovely day we had for the Chris Wood Memorial! ☀️⛳

Twenty-nine members enjoyed a 9-hole Stableford competition in beautiful sunny conditions, followed by a delicious BBQ.

Congratulations to David England, who took out the Memorial with an excellent 19 points, with Rod Angus finishing runner-up on 17 points. Geoff Balderas claimed the NTP prize. 👏

In the Ladies 9-Hole Competition, Rose Lloyd was the winner with 18 points on a countback from Chris Angus, while Bronwyn Halpin won the NTP.

A wonderful day of golf, friendship and remembrance. Well done to all who participated!

A fantastic day at the King’s Birthday Tennis Tournament on Saturday, with 20 players filling all available courts for a fun and competitive day of tennis. 🎾👏

A special thank you to Suzi Diviny for the wonderful sandwiches, cakes and sausage rolls that kept everyone well fed throughout the day.

BIG DAY OUT! ⛳👏

A fantastic effort by our ladies on Friday, taking on 27 holes in the Apollo Bay Open and the Point Bunbury Shield.

Congratulations to Tina on winning the C Grade Nett — a wonderful achievement! 👏👏

The team of Rose, Tina and AMK also had a great day, narrowly missing out on the Point Bunbury Shield by just one shot.

Chris, Rose and Anne-Maree headed to Torquay on Wednesday to compete in their Bowl event. ⛳🏌️‍♀️

We were fortunate to finish our round before the weather really set in! Unfortunately, we didn’t come home with a win or one of the raffle prizes (there was only one draw!), but it was still a great day out enjoying good company and golf.

A beautiful day at Lara Golf Club for the Durbridge-Bate Challenge Bowl! ☀️⛳

Sally, Sue E and Chris represented LCC in a strong field of 21 teams, finishing a very respectable 12th with 93 points. Congratulations to Portarlington, who took out the event with 104 points.

Things were looking a little grim when we missed out on the raffle prizes, but the day ended on a high when Sue and Chris took home the lucky chair prizes! 🤣👏
