The beautiful timber Linville Hotel is situated at the bottom of the Blackbutt Range, 7km in from Moore off the D'aguilar Highway. Nestled in the Brisbane Valley the village of Linville is stunning and offers beautiful views, wildlife, birdlife and the old railway station. Located on Australia's largest rail trail for hiking, cycling and horse riding The Linville Hotel offers meals, accommodation

and bar. A great destination for day trippers being approx 1.5 hours from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba the hotel is popular with car clubs, trail riders, motorbike clubs and people out for a drive in the country. Live music every weekend, lunch and dinner 7 days a week during the peak season of Winter and 5 days a week during Summer. Family friendly and Dogs welcome in the beer garden too.

Last month, we shared the heartbreaking news that our chef Ozzie had lost his family home in a house fire in Fiji.

Over the past two weeks, Ozzie has been able to return home for a short visit to support his family and help them establish alternative accommodation.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised just over $4,500 through raffles and donations. These funds have been used to purchase essential kitchen equipment for Ozzie and his family as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported this fundraising effort. Whether you purchased raffle tickets, made a donation, or simply shared your well wishes, your kindness has made a real difference.

Ozzie and his family would like to pass on their heartfelt gratitude for your support, thoughts, prayers, and generosity during this difficult time.

🎉 More exciting news from our little hotel!

Following our win at the Queensland Hotel Awards on Monday, we are thrilled to share that The Linville Hotel has also been awarded 2nd Place in the Queensland Day "All the Best" Awards.

To be recognised among some of Queensland’s most loved and iconic destinations is something we are incredibly grateful for. As a small country pub in a town of just a few hundred people, this recognition means the world to us.

We are humbled by the support we receive from our incredible team and the many visitors (local and from a far) who choose to stop in for a meal, a drink, a stay, or simply a friendly chat. You are the heart of what makes The Linville Hotel such a special place.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, supported us, and continues to champion our little country pub. We never take that support for granted.

Clare Cowley takes over from 11.30am on Sunday to help round out the weekend with great tunes and an easy-going Sunday session.

🛍️ LINVILLE MARKETS
The Linville Markets will also be happening Sunday morning from 8am at the Community Hall - a great chance to wander through the stalls and support local businesses and makers.

☕ Before the markets or after your Rail Trail adventure, stop into the Linville Store & Cafe for breakfast, great coffee and their famous cakes in a can! They also have a huge range of hot drink options perfect for these cooler mornings.

🏆 WE’RE STILL PINCHING OURSELVES! 🏆

Last night at the Queensland Hotel Association Awards for Excellence, we were incredibly honoured to be named Best Hotel Bar - Regional Division.

To say we are proud would be an understatement! This award belongs to so many people.

To our wonderful patrons – thank you for choosing to spend your time with us, for supporting our little country pub, for sharing a meal, a drink, a laugh and creating the atmosphere that makes this place so special. We simply wouldn't be here without you.

To our amazing team - thank you for everything you do, every single day. Your hard work, dedication, professionalism and genuine care for our guests is what makes the Linville Hotel what it is. This recognition is a reflection of your efforts.

To our families - thank you for the unconditional support, encouragement and sacrifices you have made along the way. Running a country pub is not a 9-to-5 job, and we could not do it without the love and understanding of those closest to us.

We would also like to congratulate all of the finalists and winners recognised throughout the evening. Queensland is home to some truly outstanding hotels, and we feel privileged to stand alongside so many passionate operators who work tirelessly to support their communities and our industry.

While the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail may not be open to motorbikes, the Somerset region is packed with some incredible rides for our motorcycle friends!

If you’re looking for the best local routes, Pete from Jimna Base Camp is your man. A top bloke with a wealth of knowledge on adventure riding tracks and scenic backroads - and luckily for us, many of those rides include a stop in Linville! 🍻🏍

So grab a group of mates, dust off the adventure bikes and start planning your next ride. Make sure both Jimna Base Camp and The Linville Hotel are part of the journey!

Cold beers, hearty meals, country hospitality and great riding - sounds like a perfect few days away to us 🙌

What an awesome group to have stay with us over the weekend!

These legends enjoyed a Saturday night at The Linville Hotel with great meals, drinks around the fire pit and finished their stay by grabbing some of our hotel t-shirts -proudly wearing them for the next leg of their trip on Sunday! 🙌🚴

Thank you guys for being such a fantastic group. It was our pleasure providing you with good old country hospitality!
